NV Kiel Canal nautical chart
One of the busiest man-made waterways is the Kiel Canal which connects the North Sea with the Baltic Sea making a circumnavigation of Skagen unnecessary in most cases. The length is 98km and an average depth of 11m allows even many larger sea-going vessels to pass through. The canal meanders scenically from the marshes near Brunsbüttel to the lovely Baltic Sea.
Our single map Kiel Canal shows the passage from Brunsbüttel to Kiel-Holtenau on a double-sided single map. 4 canal sections and 7 detailed plans in A2 format make the map indispensable for getting through the busy canal. Scale is 1:55000.
Furthermore extensive navigational and navigational police information on the traffic lights and traffic routing is printed supplemented by sailing times and the classification of traffic groups. All details necessary for safe passage including telephone numbers and VHF working channels are given.
This chart is also included in Series 1 - Round Fyn - Bay of Kiel.
