The southwest coast is the climatically mildest region of Norway and offers with Kristiansand, Ryvingen (southernmost lighthouse of Norway), Lindesnes and the beautiful Flekkefjord a landscape shaped by nature. However, at Lindesnes the Skagerrak meets the North Sea, which you should definitely take into account in your planning.

Our recommendation

Our recommendation for this chart set is series 9 so that you can start directly from the Limfjord. As a supplement you should have the NO5 map set on board with which you can travel up the Norwegian west coast to Stavanger. Of course the Norwegian-created Havneguiden 2 and 3 should not be missing with their wonderful aerial photographs and great tips.
