The FR4 covers the north-western tip of Brittany. The largest city in the Brest region, divided by the Penfeld River, is an interesting port city with a rich shipping history and a naval base. The world heritage site of Camaret-sur-Mer, located on the Crozon peninsula, is not far from Brest. There are pretty little harbours and wonderful nature with spectacular cliffs, heathland, turquoise ocean and gentle beaches to marvel at. Our recommendation

As a further recommendation on this chart set we advise the UK1 to either cross to Cornwall or the FR5 to explore the French coast along the Gulf de Gascogne. Of course we have matching cruising guides for these series. Of course there is also the possibility of crossing the Bay of Biscay if you have the ATL1 in your luggage.
