The update service is included in your charts for this region for one season and can be extended with the purchase of a new NV Charts edition for this region.

Whether under sail or motor - for anyone on the water, you will find many important changes such as depth structure and buoyage and loads of additional information such as lock times and harbour information are available in the paper chart as a pdf update, and are also displayed in the NV Charts App. Information can also be supplemented with your own comments and photos.
The update service summarises all changes for the current edition and is compatible with the current editions of the nautical charts.
In addition to the update service, latest reports are published on our website and are updated directly in the NV Charts App on a daily basis. In this way, you are also continuously informed about all changes between the publications of the update service. The Update Service is published at regular intervals from April to October. Digital Update for the NV Charts App
In the NV Charts app, you can use
Menu → Charts → My Charts → and the green arrow to the right of the chart,
to download the update for the digital nautical charts. In addition, all latest reports are also displayed in the chart in the NV Charts App.

Updates Chart Navigator
For the Chart Navigator(or other compatible navigation programs) an EXE file is available to update the digital charts for the Chart Navigator.EXE Download
Save this file on your computer (e.g. on the desktop), close the navigation software, and run the downloaded EXE file by double-clicking and following the instructions. The EXE file can then be deleted.
