For all shipping traffic, the bridge passage under the railway bridge will be closed from 12 to 16 July 21 during the period 2200h to 0500h.

A rope fitted with red and yellow floats will be deployed across river 'Nordre Älv', approximately 70 m upstream from
the ferry landing point at Kornhall. This temporary measure is undertaken in order to prevent ice floes from causing
undue disturbance to the operation of the cable ferry.

On the Göta Canal the following rules have to be followed since March 2020:
Vessels > 15m in length are recommended to be equipped with AIS, at least as receiver, and to be standby on VHF 16/10.
It is recommended to provide a mobile phone number to receive current messages from the canal operator via SMS.
In the Billströmmen, Spetsnäskanalen and Bergkanalen passages, vessels > 15m in length are requested to report their passage intention via VHF 16/10.
