With our nautical chart subscription in a combi-pack, you always receive the current paper nautical chart as well as a 365-day app licence for the corresponding area and our year-round update and information service.

Product description - Your subscription advantage

If you choose our subscription, you save up to 20% compared to a one-time purchase and automatically receive 2 printed editions. The first one at the time of purchase and the second one as soon as the updated edition is available next year. You can continue to use your online nautical chart as usual. Updates are made automatically in the NV Charts app.

For optimal use of your paper charts, you will receive the latest information on changes via e-mail as a pdf via our update service.

How do I get a subscription

You can subscribe to a nautical chart by ordering the corresponding subscription in our NV Charts webshop. You make the payment for the first delivery directly in the webshop. From the second delivery in the following year / from 31 March onwards, we will send you the new issue by purchase on account to the delivery address given.

Subscription period

Your nautical chart subscription will be automatically renewed for a further edition if you do not cancel by March 31 of a year by informing us of your subscription order number. You can send us your cancellation by e-mail or by using our online form. We will inform you of the cancellation option by e-mail at the beginning of February each year.

When will I receive my nautical chart if I take out a subscription?

Our nautical editors are constantly working on updating the nautical charts and providing our customers with the latest news from the corresponding regions. In the period February / March, the nautical charts with the current data go to print for the corresponding year. As soon as the freshly printed nautical charts arrive in our warehouse, they are immediately sent to all subscription customers. This dispatch should take place by March 31 each year at the latest.

Which NV nautical charts are offered as subscriptions?

We currently offer the following series as subscriptions:

Baltic Sea Series 1-4
North Sea Series 10-13
Netherlands Series 1-5

What are the advantages of a nautical chart subscription?

By ordering a nautical chart subscription, you automatically receive a new nautical chart every year on the publication date. This way you are always up to date and do not have to remember to order a new nautical chart every year.

If you decide on our subscription, you commit to a minimum purchase of 2-year editions and benefit from a price advantage of up to 20% compared to a one-off purchase.

Does my nautical chart subscription renew automatically?

Yes. If you do not cancel your subscription, it will automatically renew on March 31 each year for a further edition.

How can I cancel my nautical chart subscription?

Your nautical chart subscription will be automatically renewed for a edition if you do not cancel by March 31 of any year by informing us of your subscription order number. You can cancel your subscription by sending an e-mail to support@nvcharts.com or by using our online cancellation form. We will inform you of the cancellation option by e-mail at the beginning of February each year.

Can I also buy the nautical chart without ordering / starting a subscription?

Yes, any nautical chart offered as a subscription will still be available as a normal one-time purchase. The subscription is simply another option.

What happened to the premium exchange system?

The premium exchange system was abolished and replaced by the new subscription model.

For many customers, returning the nautical charts was too time-consuming and cost-intensive. Therefore, with the subscription model, we have created a system that is less cumbersome and still offers price advantages.

How do I know if a nautical chart is available by subscription?

Charts available on subscription are marked with a subscription mark in the upper left corner of the list view. In the product detail view, the corresponding subscription variants can then be selected in addition to the one-time purchase.
