For the northern part of the inland waters of the Netherlands, the NL6 Waterkaart Nederland North a practical and handy travelling companion. Together with the NL7 (Waterkaart Nederland Zuid), the entire inland area of the country can be explored. Regions overview

This atlas covers cities such as Groningen in the north and Arnhem in the southern part of the chart. The canals typical of the Netherlands are almost all navigable and interconnected. The small lakes or the canals of a small town offer a charming atmosphere. In contrast to the areas on the North Sea, strong winds, currents and tides are usually less pronounced in inland waters, which is why you can take it a little easier overall. The perfect area for beginners or sailors who want to gain some additional experience. Those who long for relaxation and peace and quiet and don't have to reckon too much with currents and tides will have a lot of fun in the inland waters and with the NL6!

If you want to continue your journey to the southern inland waters, then the NL7 is the perfect continuation. However, if you are drawn to the North Sea, we recommend the NL3 for the IJsselmeer or the NL2 towards the Waddenzee. A seamless transition to the German area is also possible, for which the DE13 is suitable.
