Whoever wants to travel along the German-Polish border down the Oder to historic Szczecin should set out on the journey with Inland Volume 3 of NV Charts. From Eisenhüttenstadt downstream to the Szczecin Lagoon the sparsely populated surroundings can be enjoyed on both the Polish and German sides. Due to the current and the low level of the Oder this stretch of water is particularly suitable for motorboats. Via Anklam the Stettiner Haff leads to the Peene also known as the Amazon of the North.
